With rare exception, political affiliation, sincerity, and ideologies notwithstanding, most elected Congressmen/women never shy away from extoling the virtues and greatness of America at every opportunity presented to them. This is particularly true when they’re campaigning, fundraising, and appearing on television. Not surprisingly these accolades are consistent with the tenor of the oath they take when sworn into office as set forth below.
“I, (name), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.”
Politicians are like elite pro quarterbacks in that having a very short memory is essential to the job. A QB will not rue over an interception or fumble, but continues to play as if the miscue had not occurred. Likewise, most politicians will say anything that benefits them at a particular moment, and later unabashedly contradict the statement as if it had never been uttered.
The sorry excuse of rotting garbage comprising the current Congress consistently and willfully violates their oath of office. Then, when called on to account for a certain statement or action opt to play QB, spin the facts and pretend they’re upholding their sworn commitments
Specifically, in good conscience each member knows very well, or by exercising basic common sense should know that through Executive Orders and otherwise Obama flagrantly violates the Constitution, Federal, and State criminal laws on a regular basis. Some glaring examples are as follows:
Notwithstanding an abundance of cogent evidence this Congress has purposefully failed to take any meaningful action against Obama to stop his lawlessness and hold him accountable. Instead they’ve acquiesced like sheep by doing absolutely nothing substantive and have likewise disrespected America and her government.
Congress has a sworn duty to America and its citizenry to support and defend the Constitution of the United States. Enabling Obama to have free rein to do as he pleases without accountability as aforesaid is contrary to and a blatant violation of their oath. But politicians have short convenient memories so when discussing Obama’s illegal acts for public consumption the conversation is either one of fact spin or sniveling, ranting, and raving. In both instances the result is the same: meaningless effluvium is being incessantly spewed.
Let’s be clear: Congress is complicit in Obama’s ongoing annihilation of American culture, values and traditions by willfully enabling him to continue on his treacherous course of ruination without any accountability whatsoever. In so doing they’re allowing personal agendas to trump their duty to America. Such conduct not only evinces a lack of conscience, but also is reprehensible, unpatriotic, and cannot possibly be justified.
